Forum posting could really brings in huge traffic if you do it the right way, just as what you said, we can even branding our blog in forum. You must be creative, helpful and active in the forum, then people only can see your exist.

Lee, I think traffic is obviously the thing every bloggers or website owner constantly needs. Those who don’t have it get crazy at the idea that they aren’t and are obviously on the lookout for some people who would especially buy fro their websites.
I like your 10 ideas here on how to build more traffic to your website. I think the ways you mentioned also helps with branding yourself. Especially would I agree with you on nr 3: Forum Posting. One would tend to just get the backlinks from forums sites and people reading your posts in threads. But if you’re active in forum sites (especially digitalpoint forums) I realized that other websites trigger your threads. So as long as you start as many threads and not just posting -you might get at least quite a few websites linking back to your website triggering your thread exactly as it is in forum sites onto theirs. What this mean is that you will even get better links from other websites that uses your forum threads as content than from forum sites themselves.

Obviously guest posting is the best way, other than driving more referral traffic to your blog, it can also improves search engine ranking for your blog as you’re getting one way dofollow backlink from the blog that you submit your guest post. In my opinion, guest posting is the best way to build quality backlinks and traffic.

yes, for a particular country traffic, this newspaper trick can be useful to some extent to drive traffic

Anothr just a off-topic question..
you are writing here that its a do-follow blog but i can’t see any dofollow link in ur src code

Every link whether the commentator has 1 comment or 100 is no-follow

Good points you shared out here Lee, on driving traffic to your site. You’re right, you’re on the first page for make money online searching on Malaysia google. Obviously your backlinks helped you to rank well. But I notice there’s a site ‘only in m’sia mah’ is also on the first page and this site doesn’t have much backlinks to it.

Any idea how it got up there? Perhaps the issue we’re looking here is a blackhat practistioner in action.
