Alexa ranking is not accurate one of my sites gets 600/visitors per day and it ranks around 290000 , another one gets 200/day and ranks 150000 so I don’t trust Alexa

My blog’s Alexa rank was affected when I removed the Alexa Sparky extension for Firefox. I did it because I installed another extension that included a PR checker. I didn’t know that it would make my rankings suffer. I’ve reinstalled the Alexa Sparky plugin and I hope that my Alexa ranking would go “down” again.

I think that you can easily manipulate your Alexa ranking! I'm not a fan of toolbars at all, also I believe Alexa isn't any use for non-English sites. I've read a few sites with tips to increase the ranking, I installed the Alexa badge once and yes it did work, but the site was still at 400.000 :P And somehow I stopped caring, since it doesn't seem imported for Dutch sites :) .-= Freakenstein´s last blog ..Belgen geschokt over horrorfilm Sint! =-.

I do use that Alexa chicklet or badge. I think, using that tool can help.

Holding a contest is the best way to keep your reader returning to your blog, instead of a small contest, why not you hold a big one and attract both old and new visitors? Let me know if you need any sponsor, I would be more happy to be one of them. ;)
