Since long time ago, Google has added advantage for every publisher to target their Adsense Content, this is what I’m going to tell you about. Today, I learned something new about how to target our adsense content, approach Google to put relevant ads or the ads we want in our make money blog or website.
This is useful for those has their blog with many contents such as Games, PC, Cloths, Pets, Business, Foods, Travel, Make Money Blogging Tips, Bla Bla Bla… Ok, you have a lot of contents in your blog, between all the content, you only wan Google to place Cloths’ ads in your blog. Example, let’s say you own a Foods Blog, but Google place something not relevant to your blog say Furniture Ads, someone go to your site want to find something about food, common sense, this “someone” will not click your furniture ads, am i right ?
So if you want to let Google know what ads content you would like to put, you may need to insert this code in your blog.
Google AdSense gave out some html code as below :

Insert your relevant ads content here
<!– google_ad_section_end –>
Insert your relevant ads content between the code, this can help Google to know what type of ads you like.
AdSense have also supplied a way to ignore content as well :
<!– google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) –>
Insert the content to be ignored which mean those content ads that you don’t want Google to show.

There are 2 steps to insert the code in to your blog :
1) Insert the first code around the main content, example a blog page (the page you are reading) may be from the header (”How to target Adsense Content”) to the comment box below. This would then only include the main content of this post ignoring the title of the blog.
2) Insert the second code around the header, menu, footer and other non main content so the main content only is considered by Google.
This is only a guideline for those who own a “rojak” blog with many contents. As 5xmom taught me, concentrate your blog and target with only once niche content, don mix all together. Read also my previous post about “How to get relevant ads”.
