If your site is too complex, the graphics too slow to load, or other problems like that, then your potential customers will not wait. They will simply move on. 2.Cover all the bases. Market offline
Here’s another common error amongst online businessmen- they assume everyone is online all the time. No one is really online all the time, which is why you need to market offline. Within your website, make sure to still list phone numbers, or other ways to contact you, that way, you give your customer options.
3.Do not ignore the search engines
What do you do when you need to look for something on the Internet? More often than not, you go to the search engines right? If you’re used to this method, then it must be safe to assume your potential customers are too. And if that is the case, then it would prove to be a fatal mistake not to get your sites on these search engines. You may think that after you’ve posted all the information on your website then your work is done. This could not be further from the truth! Collecting emails is something I have done on and off with my websites. Some do it while others don’t. However, I think it is really important (especially for long term success), so I need to find a way to try and build a list of each of my sites.

Yes I’d have to agree that e-mail list building is one of the most common internet marketing mistakes. I think people incorrectly associate e-mail marketing with the unsolicited spam e-mails they receive. So many newbies see it as something they should be avoiding. It is extremely effective once you know what you’re doing. It gives you the ability to easily contact thousands of interested potential customers.
Excellent Lee. I made a website a year ago. I figured it was a build it and they will come kind of thing. All summer I was busy and didn’t have time to mess with it. Now work is slow and I’ve finally done some homework and found out how wrong I was.

Collecting emails is one thing that should be consider. I like that idea :) I am looking forward to try that out on my upcoming business that I will launch in few days to come. This is a good reminder to me to keep me align with my goal on my upcoming to be launch site.
