Whenever any blogger ask me what is the most important factor to write quality article and attract readers then I just have only one answer that whenever you write any article, write it with full confidence and it will automatically give a personal touch to your article.
Giving personal touch to any article can do wonders if done effectively. Readers don’t like to read copied articles, they will only attract to your blog when you are sharing any useful information in your own way. It is always good to follow pro bloggers and learn from them but it is equally important that you must have your own way of writing articles.
Here are few tips which will help you to give a personal touch to your articles:
1. Select a topic which interests you
Giving personal touch doesn’t mean that you just need to use words like “I” or “Me”. It is more than that. Just adding these words doesn’t give personal touch to the articles. You need to share the information your way and readers should think that you are communicating with them. For this, you should always select the topic which interests you then only you will be able to give your 100% to that article and you will directly write from heart. Like I can write about blogging, technology comfortably but when it comes to politics or sports I am never comfortable and it shows in my writing style.
2. Read about topic
Even if you are proficient in about the topic then also I would recommend you to gather more knowledge about that topic. Things keeps on changing and especially when it comes to blogging and technology. Reading keeps you updated with what is going around in the world and gradually you will get more confidence when you will start writing article.
3. Think about topic
Reading about the topic you are planning to write is not enough to give personal touch to your article. After reading and gathering updated information about the topic, you need to think about it and try to add a valuable insight about that topic so that you can provide more information to your readers. Think about both pros and cons of that topic and how it is useful for your readers.
4. Be expressive
Blogging is all about sharing your feelings and thoughts with others. Once you are confident after reading and thinking about the topic you want to write for your readers you can easily share what your views are about that specific topic. You need to be very expressive while writing articles. Readers should understand what you want to share with them. Your article should not be hazy, it should be clear and to the point.
5. Add your opinion confidently
Giving personal touch to any article means that you need to share your views about specific topic. Don’t ever get scared while adding your negative or positive opinion to any article. Readers love to read views and experiences of the writer. Adding real experiences to article gives a personal touch to your articles. But remember while giving negative opinion you should never get rude, always use polite words.
Readers don’t want to read newspaper which just shares news with them. They read your blog because you add a magic to your article while sharing it with your readers. Thus, always write from your heart and try to communicate with your readers to give personal touch to articles.

i agree. If we add personal touch to our articles, this will help us in long time. I do that and usually i got many thing from that. Get referrals, get new lead, get new friends and traffic.

To add a personal touch and to encourage feedback and communication its also a good idea to include a question in the article that addresses the reader.

I think adding an appropriate image is an easy way to add a personal touch. Especeially an image taken with the writer’s personal camera.
