There are various affiliate internet make money online program on the internet which we can use to make money online with our blogs, affiliate programs that I’ve discussed earlier were NetPartner, Hotels Combined, Logical Media and etc. It was 2 months ago, a net friend of mine shared his affiliate money making strategies with me, it was about making money online with Clickbank by using a free blog and using article marketing to promote the products, then I followed his steps. A month ago which was last month, I checked my Clickbank account and there was 2 sales made and it was about $82.62 credited to my account, it was just a small amount but I was excited and shocked to see that because I was not doing good with affiliate program in the past, I didn’t have luck with affiliate program but I did it in the end!
I believe that most of the people know about Clickbank, isn’t? In case you don’t know, Clickbank is a marketplace where people can used to sell their products or being an affiliate and promote others’ products to make money online. There are more than ten thousand products with various categories in their system, so you can simply get a relevant product that you can used to promote in your blog and make money.
4 Steps How I Make Money Online With Clickbank
In fact, I was not using this blog to promote Clickbank product to make money too, I was using free blog platform which was blogger.com to promote the Clickbank product. As we know, creating a free blog in blogger.com is kinda difficult to get more traffic in the beginning as people doesn’t appreciate blogspot blog, I think it relates to the human’s mentality, people may think that a free blog is not a quality blog. I’m going to talk more about mentality, we just concern about make money online, aren’t we?
Here are few steps that I used to start my campaign and made money by selling clickbank product :
1) Signup ClickBank.com
So you need to have a Clickbank affiliate account in order to promote the product and make money. You just need to signup in ClickBank.com. After completing the registration, go to “Marketplace” and look for the profitable product that you like to promote. You can look for the highest payout per sale, once you’ve picked one then you need to visit the product landing page and understand the product, so that you can write more about the product while doing article marketing for your campaign.
2) Signup Blogger.com
Now, you need a free blog or a paid blog to promote the Clickbank product that you’ve chosen just now. While I was doing my campaign, I used free blog which was blogspot blog for testing, which mean you can do all these without doing any investment in buying hosting and domain for a paid blog. You probably need to create a free blog with a relevant name, let’s say you would like to promote “Marketing & Ads” related product, then you can name your blog as an example as “E-Marketing-Make-Money.blogspot.com” or whatever name, as long as the name is related to the product that you’re going to promote, remember that you’re not promoting only 1 product, so it’s better if you use a general name for your blog.
After setting up your blogspot blog, then you can starting writing an article to promote the product that you’re picked just now, you’ve read and understood the product then you can write more about the product in your blogpost blog. Don’t forget to create a “HopLink” or we called it “Affiliate Link” in Clickbank for the chosen product, I recommend you to shorten your HopLink by using TinyURL.com. Then you can now inserting 2-3 affiliate links within the content in the blogspot blog.
3) Article Marketing
After you’ve written an article to promote the product in your blogspot blog, then you can now using article marketing to promote the blog post which you used to promote the product. Article marketing is a type of marketing skill that people use to promote their sites, blogs or articles in either others’ blogs (Guest Posting) or article directories.
I was doing article marketing to promote my blog post in EzineArticles, one of the popular article directory. It ranks very high in the search engine and the article that you submitted to EzineArticles is easy to be indexed and will be ranked higher too. It’s free to submit your article in EzineArticles, and you’ll get more exposure to your blog post. EzineArticles doesn’t allow you to promote the product or insert any affiliate link in the article, so you need to write some useful tips post that would attract more people to read, and insert a link points to your blog post, then people will read your blog post about the product and may click on your affiliate link to buy the product if they’re interested with the product.
In fact, I used to write about 5-8 articles to promote a single product in EzineArticles, it depends on how well is your result, if you can make more sales after writing 3 articles and submitting to EzineArticles, then you can pick another product in Clickbank and go further. After submitting your articles to EzineArticles, you probably need to wait more than 1 week for the staff to review and approve your article, so you can keep producing more articles to get more exposure to your blogspot blog. Remember that you must write quality content in EzineArticles, bad writing doesn’t attract people to read your post. Traffic is what you want in order to convert it into sales, so be sure you write quality content to attract more visitors.
4) My Clickbank Earning
The last step is checking my result. After a month for the above steps, I’ve got 2 sales from my blog. It prove that using a free blog can really make money online without any investment, it also showed us the power of article marketing. I earned $82.62 from Clickbank last month, it was not a big amount but at least it prove that I can make money by selling product, it improved my self-confidence when I plan to start a new campaign with a paid blog, which mean I’m going to do investment in affiliate marketing!

Perhaps you can try it, the result may depends on how many effort you put into this field, if you work harder then you may get sales within a month. Since it’s free, just give it a try, if it works for you, then you could make some extra money as your pocket money.
Even though you can make money without any expenses I still recommend people to buy their own domain and get a good webhost. It’s only $5 dollar a month and you will not have the fear of loosing all your content and income if Blogpost decides to ban you.
Besides that it’s a great post and a simple method to make money if you are good at writing quick and interesting.

Yea, it’s a small figure if you look at $82.62, but once converted, then it’s a good amount, at least for us.
Good job. If you made $80= fro 1 clickbank product then you should repeat the process for additional products. Imagine doing this ten times per month. That’s an extra $800 per month in pure profit with no overhead.

Yea, definitely I’ll repeat the process in coming days but not for now, I’m kinda busy with my day job, so now you know day job is very time consuming but make money online at home the time is very flexible. Anyway, it’s my goal to be a full time blogger in future.
I am a HUGE Clickbank fan. The products are all in digital format so the customers can easily download them and the commissions usually run between 50% and 75% which is great. Not only can you make good money as an affiliate, but if you sell digital products, it is a great place to sell them.
Congrats on the nice commission Lee! Now you just need to duplicate what you did here over and over again and soon you could be making $1000 a month or more. Great job!

Playing with Adwords may cause you losing money if you don’t understand the games, I don’t think I’m on the track yet as I was trying to make a sale by using a free blog, I don’t think it works if I promote the free blog by using Adwords. I’m in the learning process of how to create a landing page to sell product, then I would try Adwords. Optimizing the right keyword for your product and site is the key point as well, but it’s almost similar between optimizing keyword for blog and optimizing keyword for landing pages.
i haven’t been into Affiliate and also havent tried it any time till now. but after reading ur post and its simple steps i will surely give it a try soon.

Lee, besides clickbank have you any experience with PayDotCom? The business model is a bit different, they leave the affiliate payment in the hands of the product maker, it seems this leaves the door open to problems, unlike clickbank where clickbank is the middleman and disburses payment to both parties.

As we know not all the people afford to buy their own hosting domain, so I went ahead and did an experiment on this. This prove that free blog can be making money as well, so everyone can make money online without any investment. Anyway, I’m not going to reveal the blogger blog yet as that’s just a very normal blog that talks about the product, perhaps in future.
