Hi devlim,
Haha! Definitely! Chinese get scammed during CNY is the most “pantang” incident, people must curse you for the whole year!
LoL thanks for the post KaHoong. I’ve been receiving different kind of scam emails nowadays, some request to bank in money to them first and I’ll be getting a big amount of money. Just weeks ago I’ve read some news regarding a young man around 22 got cheated around 1 million USD by email scam.

Hi Stanzer_V,
Oh I think I have received tonnes of emails with the same content with you. I did face same case via handphone too. First, they will call to ask about your personal details and said your name is chosen for some Contest. After 2 days, they will call and ask you to join their party at somewhere around and they also have lucky draw for the night, even though we don’t go, they will give us the prize if our name had been drawn. The next day, they will call and congrats you that you win the lucky draw. It’s 10k cash, but you have to pay 2k deposit to withdraw the 10k as their bank require us to do so.
I don’t know why there is so much scam email and report around the net and news, but still have people get scammed. Too bad.
The scam is pretty obvious. To avoid being scammed, make sure the domain name is correct.

Hi hyperX,
Yes! We just have to make sure that we visit the correct domain name and don’t visit any “hidden link” URL. All of them are scammer!
Congratulations to you, Kahoong!
