Which Team That You Support?

There are 32 teams in the tournament, I’m a fan of England because England has a lot of football players that I like and salute, such as Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard (Captain), John Terry, Frank Lampard and etc, I like the way they play.

Which team that you’re going to support? Which team that you think will be the final winner?

    Hi Lee,
    I love to support the underdog teams, since a lot of people already support big team like Brazil, Argentina, Italy, etc. how about South Korea and Japan in the final? or one of the Asian team in the final…
    Good luck to them!

      @alias,
      That might be great if they could go into final, but it might be weird if big team like Brazil, Italy, Argentina, England, Spain, Portugal doesn’t go into final. Anyway, just enjoy all the matches. ;)

    • Jeremy from Laptop Briefcase says:

      I think it’s a long time until we see an Asian team in the World Cup final. Soccer just isn’t popular enough in those countries. A South Korea vs Japan final would be the biggest world cup upset ever.

    Watching the game right now actually, Germany stomping Australia. Overall I’m going for Portugal. Loving the cup but also destroying my productivity haha.

    Haha! I’m supporting England too! Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to watch the match as my student house does not have TV. Anyway, i can go to Mamak Stall to join the fever of World Cup. Thanks for your sharing! :)

    • Lee Ka Hoong says:

      @Kok Siong,
      Are you staying in Hostel Kok Siong? I believe that many of your friends will be going to Mamak Stall, you may join them up!
      England will be playing with Algeria next on 19th June 2010, stay tuned! :D

  4. Siau Hen from Travel Malaysia Guide says:

    I support Korea. Hope that can go further after the first victory over Greece.

    I would also hope those ‘attacking style’ teams will move to the next round. To watch a match without goal is really…boring. :D

    Hope you guys enjoy the games.

    • Lee Ka Hoong says:

      @Siau Hen,
      I just watched Netherlands against Denmark, I assume Netherlands is one of the “attacking style” teams, they were playing very well and ended up Netherlands owned Denmark with 2-0, good games. I strongly agree with you, a match without throughout the 90 minutes is definitely boring. ;)

  5. Let’s go South Korea. I am impressed by the way they won Greece

    Nice! I need to blog about this and install the plugin. I think the plugin would be an excellent means of garnering local traffic, especially from Facebook.

    Well I don’t need a plugin cause I’m watching every game at my great tele. Wondering how the Spanish team will respond to the loss today against Switzerland. Honduras match will not be any problem but the Chile game can be hard and there is a great risk that they may face Brazil in the next round.

    • Jeremy from Laptop Briefcase says:

      At this point I think Spain just wants to try to make it to the next round. Although they were one of the favorites to win it all, the loss against Switzerland could have big implications, especially if they struggle against Chile.

  10. Hi guys,

    I’m not really into any type of sports. But I love the plugin. Thanks for sharing.

    Kind regards,
    Sam
