See, if you penalized by Google then it doesn’t matter that you shouldn’t build backlink, restart your White Hat SEO work, if you do in the right way, surely you would get the result!

Too bad to hear that Heather, but don’t worry Google may take 2-3 months for reconsideration, at least that was my experience. I’m sure you’ll got back your PR4 shortly, just don’t do any paid post anymore, don’t sell text link as well. Keep writing and enjoy blogging! :)

Google hates me. I removed all links to PayPerPost 2 years ago but went from a PR4 to a PR0. I just found that I could submit my site for reconsideration and did about 2 weeks ago. I am waiting, not so patiently, on them to come to a decision. I hate that everyone relies on them so heavily for consideration when you submit your sites for things. Great article!

I love Google and I hate MicroSoft so much that Bing is not something I even care to look at. But there is an inherent problem when one company gets so much control.

The fact that Google tanks PR because they don’t like bloggers selling text links is one example. No, they have no problem with AdWords. Wonder why.

I followed this procedure sometime back when I had problems with our main website and blog and Google did indeed re-rank the sites and now I have a PR of 3, so to anyone reading this post, follow the advice, it does work ;)
