I’ve been blogging for about 6months (less than that). In the beginning, I blog about personal rant that doesn’t bring any income for me but I enjoy it. I did mentioned that a personal blog can makes money too but you’re required to have unique character. Between, I’d switched Personal Blog to Make Money Blog, so I’ve created a sub-domain for my Personal Blog.
I’ve been following the simple Search Engine Optimization tips and creating content about make money blogging for few months, finally I get into Top 10 Google Search Result in term of “Make Money Blogging”. My of my reader said that I’ll be get banned by Google in some days, I told another of my loyal reader that I’ll proof him that I will get into Top 10 GSR in few days on, I gonna proof to the reader that I’m not getting banned and get even better!
Check out my previous rank. Today… this is what I get…
* I stand steadily in 9th out of 20,200,000 competitor with term “Make Money Blogging”. Between, the monthly searches for this term was 8100 searches. In addition, I do stay in 2nd page for keyword “Make Money Blog” and “Blog Make Money” that has 14,800 searches in a month, I’m still looking for this.
How I Get Into Top 10 Google Search Result With Term “Make Money Blogging”
In the beginning, I was asking myself whether possible to get into Top 10 of my keyword? My answer was “I don’t Know, just try it”, and my answer now is “Yes, you can!”. Actually that’s not really difficult to do it, you just have to do some simple SEO works for Google, and keep on blogging, keep build fresh content to feed your readers and make Google happy.
I recommend you to read my SEO tips, i.e. Beginner SEO Checklist, Interlink Articles, Simple guide for Wordpress Blog (Sitemap), etc. Do simply download this 2 Wordpress plugin for better SEO as well, they are “All In One SEO Pack” and “Google Sitemap“, it’s a very simple wordpress plugin but I found this useful.
Other than this all simple SEO tips, I do say the most important factor is your content. You just have to build up fresh and unique content, remember do not do keyword stuffing or else you’ll get banned by Google. So, you just need to choose the right keyword for your blog and start optimize it in natural way.
This is what everyone can do, I can, why you can’t?

Google Adwords Keyword Tools, this is what I used to check the keyword searches for a month, I found this useful. Let me know if you have any problem with this tool, I can teach you step by step. 
looks like you know how to play with seo and how to get organic traffic. Thats good. I also will do same thing like you. But its really need take times.
You’re telling me that PR is important, but you’re got a PR zero. Done something wrong?
appleblogger : I’m not expert yet, but it really takes to achieve. The only thing you have to do is building fresh and unique content to feed your reader and do a little SEO works for Google, that’s enough.

Hi Jason, what I am sure Ka Hoong was trying to tell is about the page ranking at that moment, that’s why he showed us the photo taken at THAT very moment. lol. well, he didn’t say his blog will always be on the first. I was having same question as yours too Jason, and ka hoong told me that the page will be renewed each time, and perhaps there will be more page viewed on or lesser. It depends. Jason : Yea as mike said, I never said I’ll be in the Top 10 forever, before I get into Top10, there are another Top10, if they never drop and how I’ll be get in? As you know, my blog it’s not even 1 year old, so It’s a little bit difficult to maintain the rank but I’ll try to maintain it. But be honest, I get quite some organic traffic about “make money blogging”. Thanks for your comment Jason!

haha. Yup. I agree we can earn with or without pagerank. but your alexa must be under 100-400k. It prove that your site have great traffic. So, advertiser maybe interested buying some ads at your site and it also depends on niche of your blog.
So far, even my blog writing in malay. I still got some advertiser outside from malaysia. Sometimes, i got some job to review their sita at my malay blog..
titan : Yea, I’m now going got some advertisers starting looking for my ads space right now. Although my blog without PR, but I have better Alexa Rank now, so still can make money with it! But I can say your site is really good la, so many loyal reader and you make a lot of money with many other methods. Great! But some of your money maker can cause your PR gone, this is what I don’t want. I know we can make money without PR, but I still want PR because it looks great! So I’m waiting Google to update PR again next time. Hope I can get it!
