My personal advice would be, try not to use free PLR articles, as many people can just grab and post elsewhere, and many people have grabbed before you. If you've free PLR articles, edit and paraphrase them (at least 30% of the article) before submitting. If you’re getting free or cheap PLR articles, you have to edit and paraphrase A LOT before posting them, especially while submitting to your own blog (Google won’t ban article directories if you submit duplicated content to them :-?).
