When trying to make money online, it doesn’t matter which program you are trying to advertise, in order for you to get referrals, you must get a lot of targeted traffic.
There is a way for people who don’t have a website, and don’t wish to invest in a domain name and a hosting service to leverage the tools available to generate genuine traffic towards their site.
I’m not talking about traffic exchange where you would be required to spend hours every day in front of your computer clicking over and over for very poor results.
I’m not talking about Pay Per Click campaigns such as Google Adwords because it would involve spending some money and having a credit card.
What I’m referring to is Article Marketing.
The true beauty of Article Marketing comes from its leveraging power. Article Marketing consists of you writing an article on a chosen subject by yourself (probably on how to make money online or something like that). The next thing you would have to do is submit your article for free to different article directories. From there you are done yourself.
You may wonder what happened next. Simple, it is a fact that there are countless people on internet who need pre-written content for their websites. This can be for many different reasons, such as lack of inspiration, or lack of knowledge, or simply lack of time to do so. The point is that it doesn’t matter their reason, what matters is that they are craving to find fresh content to add to their site.
Article directories are here to satisfy those people by offering them thousands of articles (including the ones you just submitted) to those people for free.
Now here’s the catch. For each person who download and use an article written by yourself, they must also add a reference box at the bottom of the article.
This reference box, not only contains your name (giving you credit), but also allows you a short description of yourself or your service, and most important, the possibility to put links there.
Do you start to see the beauty of Article Marketing?
Imagine yourself spending 30 minutes of your time to create a powerful article with a link to your referral program. Now imagine people across the internet downloading your article over and over and posting it onto their website, each time with a link towards your program…
Your article never expires, which means that it will keep working for you 24/7 forever, talk about return on investment!
If you want to be even more cunning, as a last tip, rather than redirecting people to your program, you should send them (if you have the possibility) to your squeeze page first (if you have one). This way, not only will you increase your number of referral, you’ll also increase the size of your mailing list!

Great tips. I’m actually working on article writing for many of my websites and testing it out. So far I’ve been getting great results.
I have used article marketing now. However, it did not bring me traffic at all. I just wonder whether i have done anything wrong or not.

You aren’t doing anything wrong. The effect of article marketing is depended by what niches you’re in. Generally for make money online niche, it doesn’t work well. For other niches, it might work very well.
