How To Get So Much Metered Campaign From Nuffnang?

I have been asked by a lot of bloggers about “How to get Metered Campaign from Nuffnang?”, “When I can get Metered Campaign from Nuffnang?” and “How to make money with Nuffnang?”. Nuffnang is a Local Advertising Company in Malaysia, you sign up with Nuffnang and place the Nuffnang Ads in your blog, after that you can leave the rest to Nuffnang works for you. Nuffnang will find appropriate Advertiser to advertise in your blog.

I have already placed Nuffnang Ads in my blog for about 3 months. I got my Glitterati Member Status, I also got a lot of Metered Campaign running on my blog right now. I believe many of you might want to ask me how I get so much Metered Campaign from Nuffnang right ? I started to get my first Metered Campaign from Nuffnang at 23th Jun 2008. This was when my Nuffnang earning started growing.

The screen shot shows the Metered Campaign that is running on my blog right now. The Buffered Campaign is the campaign on-going now, while the Metered Campaign is the completed campaign and has been paid.

How I Get So Much Metered Campaign From Nuffnang?

1) Niche Blog
I found that many of them do not get Metered Campaign because of their blog is not niche. I have a few niche blog and this blog is about make money blogging tips and the only blog i get Metered Campaign. I think Advertiser might be like niche blog more than a “rojak” blog because it’s easier for them to get a relevant blog with their Advertisement.

2) Glitterati Member Status
If I’m not mistaken, Glitterati members have the priority to get the campaign instead of normal member. Other than this, you can also get higher earning with Glitterati member status. This is why I want to upgrade to Glitterati Member and ~~kick~~ took off Advertlets.

3) Unique Visitor
Advertiser might not interested to invest in a low traffic blog, this is very common sense. You do not need to get thousand of unique visitor per day, you just need to maintain your blog with not less than 20 unique visitor per day. You can try many way to increase your traffic. Traffic is what advertiser want, the higher the better!

4) Write and Update Your Blog Frequently
This is another factor that cause you don’t get Metered Campaign from Nuffnang. Advertisers like active blog instead of dead blog. So, update your blog frequently with great content.

My 2 cents
To get metered campaign from Nuffnang is not difficult, but not as simple as eat sweet sweet also. You are not kids, Advertisers too. They want to invest their money in the proper way also. So, try to improve your blog to get Metered Campaign from Nuffnang!

I got average 8 to 10 buffered earning anytime ler. I agree with you. If your blog is niche or always talk specific topic, they definitely park some related adz to your blog. Make sure your blog is interesting and not boring.

email2me : Ya, a niche blog is helping advertiser easily to find their sponsor. If you have a “rojak” blog, they difficult to find relevant content in your blog with their advertisement.

Ya, blog content is always the most important no matter in SEO or traffic =)

I got 1k and above unique visitors per day but most of my visitors are foreigners, not malaysian or singaporean so i wonder will i still get many metered campaign?

Angel : Actually Advertiser might interest with niche blog and also high traffic blog. I’m not sure whether they like Personal blog or not, how long you have been using Nuffnang and do you get any metered campaign before ?

I just use Nuffnang for about 3-4months, and i started to get metered campaign at the 1-2months. =)

i started use nuffnang since january .. and i get metered campaign about at the 1st month too..hehe…

Nope, Nuffnang launched the Metered Campaign just last few months ago if I’m not mistaken =)

So total how many metered campaign did you get since January until now ya ? =) I just got my 12th Metered Campaign today hehe. Thanks Nuffnang !

i just count my metered campaign in the list..and got altogether 16 of them ..

Angel : Oic..I don’t get any normal Campaign..for campaign you will receive an email that notify you that you have a campaign from which date to which date right ?

I only get metered campaign so far..I think Nuffnang has replaced the normal campaign with the metered campaign already..

but now after the metered campaign launched, there were no more normal campaign .. no more informing us… =,=

Angel : Ya, I think Nuffnang has replaced it with metered campaign already. I don’t know what the different between metered campaign and normal campaign. But both also pay in CPM basis.

Nuffnang still allocate normal campaign for me. But this time they come in a lot. Like they book that particular spot for few months. I got once which book for 3 months slot. (This one pay according to your unique visitors band)

The metered campaign pays higher in my case especially Guinness and Heineken from the click thrus.

I don’t have Guinness and Heineken campaign but i have others =) The highest pay per click from Nuffnang for me was Rm0.50 per click.

Why not? Everyone can be Glitterati member. You just have to make sure you don’t have any other local relevant ads, like Advertlets. Then you can be Glitterati member automatically within 3days.

If you’re asking me about how many was my daily traffic during the time I received lots of metered campaign, it was about 50 unique visitors per day. Now my traffics are more than that, but I’ve no metered campaign assigned to me. Perhaps the economic downturn and no advertiser would like to advertise in my blog. You should give Nuffnang a try and see how’s it going.
