Blogging is an essential key ingredient for any internet marketing business which wants to find real online success. Blogging has been around for a number of years and time and time again it proves itself to be Google’s best friend. This is because blogs feature unique, quality content and often, if done correctly, they can be their own viral hubs.
I recall the first time when I got into internet marketing. I decided that the first thing I was going to do in order to make money online was create a viral blog. I was convinced that this would make my internet marketing business flourish, so I went ahead and utilized blogger.com to create a free hosted blog solution. Little did I know at the time that blogging would be hard and take more then just a little bit of content to make money online.
Since my first attempt to blog, I have learnt a lot about blogs and the basic things they need to have to become viral hubs as well as make money online. The first of these is that any internet marketing blog needs to be clearly planned. It is essential in the competitive online market of today that your blog’s content has the same direction across the board and always has the ability to build a relationship with the reader. Without this relationship there is no potential for your blog to grow virally through the many opportunities social networking sites present to us these days.
I see so many of what I like to call “Lazy Internet Marketing Blogs” on the internet these days. I never find them in the search engines though, but, only really when I click the link of a spammy comment. These blogs have no content direction for the search engines. What I mean by content direction is that these blogging internet marketers have not done their keyword research so that Google effectively picks them up for any specific terms in the search results. Any Internet marketing business which wants to be successful needs to understand that making money from a blog is not possible if your content is not deliberately oriented towards the search engines through keywords. Thus, many don’t get indexed anywhere near the top of the search engines’ results for any terms due to the lack of direction.
Finally, one of the most important ingredients to driving traffic to your internet marketing blog is to engage in external link building practices. This is essential, not only because Google loves external links, but also because you want to build yourself and your blog as a brand. In today’s online world, with the search engines ever changing and becoming more unpredictable, it is essential that you generate traffic from other websites as well as directly from the search engines. You can do this by guest writing for other bloggers or alternatively submitting unique, quality content to sites such as Ezine Articles.
The steps I have laid out in this article should provide you with a lot of great ideas to start a successful internet marketing blog for your business. Make sure that you take your time early on, and, in every way possible steer clear of the mistakes I made so you can make some great money online.

I know how to easily make money online! It IS work, but it’s simple and free. It attracts visitors and entices them to optin. People are the fuel, not money! They are drawn to your rss feed which is meant to work in conjunction with optin, like a funnel. Social networks play their role as well. Daily posting and interactive blogging are the most effective and gratifying way to build a list.
In my opinion, having a blogging buddy who can guide you and give you some advices during your blogging journey is important too. Every time i met problems while blogging, i will refer to my blogging buddy, Lee. He will always help and guide me. Thanks a lot Lee! :)

Yeah, nowadays we always heard the ‘Lazy Internet Marketing’ or ‘Make Money Without Doing Anything’ but in fact it’s impossible to get success without effort.
Blogging is a great platform for marketing because of its great functions and flexibility. And more blogging techniques and skills become advance from day to day – a great thing for us to know.
I’m learning how to make money online. I have a hurdle to exchange links. because a new blog is difficult to accept exchange links.

I agree, it is important to generate traffic from other sources too, like article directories and guest posting. Ezine is one of the biggest article directories.
One cannot undermine the importance of search engine traffic, but these other sources are essential too.

I see this all the time as well. Simply optimizing the title and optimizing the permalink would do wonders in garnering search engine traffic. Having said this, some of our blog entries are written solely for the purpose of communicating an event in our community, and not the search engines.
