Increase Adsense Earning By Changing The Font Of Your Adsense Unit

by Lee Ka Hoong on February 23, 2009

Adsense team has just upgraded the Adsense feature where you’re able to change the font for your Adsense units. Before this, we just able to use one single font which is Verdana, but then we’re able to choose for another 2 new fonts which is Arial and Times New Roman. This new Adsense feature has benefited all the Adsense Publishers, perhaps it can increases our click through rate and earning due to fresh and new Adsense unit.

I’m currently changing font for the Adsense unit at the main page to Times New Roman, and another Adsense unit at the single post to Arial. I’m testing different font for my Adsense unit to see whether it will be increasing the click through rate and earning. If it doesn’t work as well as I think, I will be changing back to my previous Adsense unit. It’s all about trial and error. I’m keen to see the result for new font of Adsense units.

How To Change The Font For Your Adsense Unit

Adsense Font

It’s very simple, I believe that you know how to generate your adsense code. You might need choose the size of your Adsense unit, colours, corner styles and etc. In the same page, you will be seeing the new feature Fonts before the corner styles, simply choose the font you want your Adsense unit to be, either Arial, Times New Roman and Verdana. Click continue to get your code, done!

I think the new front of Adsense units can increase the click through rate and earning because visitors would be more interested to click on new different things, we’re all bored in looking at the same font for the Adsense unit. I think visitors might be more likely to click on them.

Have you changed the font for your Adsense unit? How do you feel and how’s your click through rate and earning?

@ MMMO, I don’t think we’re able to change the font size yet. Perhaps Adsense Team will upgrade the feature to be able to change the font size in coming days. I will update you if they do it. :)
