In make money blogging sphere, there are tonnes of tips on increasing traffic to your blogs. I would say one of the popular tips is submit your blog to variety of directories. As I know, there are many directories out there, what I know are blog submission directory, RSS Feed directory and also article submission directory. By submit your blog to all the directory, there is only one purpose, it’s to increase blog traffic. Traffic is the main requirement you should have to make money blogging.

Why Submitting Your Blog To Directories
By submitting your blog to all of the directories, I’ve to say that’s not 100% you can get tonnes of traffics, but of course you can get some traffics too. In my opinion, the purpose of submitting your blog to directories, other than getting traffic, you can also expose your blog to the public.
How To Increase Backlinks And Make Money Blogging Through Blog Directories
If you want to increase your blog backlinks, submit your blog to directories is one of the method as well. By submitting your blog to one directory, your backlink will be increased in one. Backlinks will directly affect your search engine ranking too, higher search engine ranking could bring you to the first page in Google search. So I would say submitting your blog to directories, it’ll increase your backlinks, search engine ranking, traffic and money in indirectly way. You don’t see it, doesn’t mean it won’t.
My Recommendation Before Submitting Your Blog To Directories
Before you submit your blog to directories, you have to build up quality and unique content to create readability for your blog. I understand that your blog will not grow without traffic, you can’t be impatient in blogosphere. First impression very important, first timer visit your blog, they will stay if your blog have a lot of information that they would like to read, they will leave if your blog have nothing else.

bb community : I think there is some blackhat tools that allow you to submit to all directory in one click, but it’s blackhat method, Google don’t like it. But don’t worry about page index and ranking, if your article is unique and quality, for sure Google will reward you something. =)
