No, I didn’t earn well with this program since I don’t have a hotel related blog. Also, this is not a pay per click program, you need to make sale in order to earn the commission.

Yes I could see how unless you have a travel related blog then it might not convert well.
I have a number of sites that are focused on Thailand and Thai hotels and resorts so it may work better for me. At the moment I’m using Agoda, but I suppose I really should do some testing.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for your reply here Aaron. Between, it didn’t convert well, I believe that it’s because of the niche of this blog, this blog is writing about blogging tips, so hotel program related ads wouldn’t convert well. Perhaps you can try it out if you have a website that writes about hotel review. Keep me updated your progress. :)

It’s been a year since you posted this, I was wondering if you have seen much success with the Hotels combined program.
I’ve taken a look at it before but was quite happy with the program I am with currently. I wonder what the conversion rate is for clickthroughs to the site?

I might take another look and test it out on one of my sites and see how it goes.
But please share your opinions after a year of using them. Are they reliable with payments and honest with cookie tracking in your experience?

It’s funny because I was just looking into affiliates with flight and hotels.

I want to start traveling more – been reading a lot of travel blogs. Hotels and flights would go perfect especially when you talk about where you’re staying; it’ll plant in people’s mind so when they do book, they’ll say “what was that hotel again?” read your blog and hopefully order through your affiliate link :)

Great advice, one thing I would like to point our is the opportunity there is for selling leads to offline business. It can get hard dealing with business owners that dont have the skills to convert leads but its a solid business to be in with stablished companies.

This looks like a great income stream and it's a neat system they developed. Some of the motels I looked for in Vegas (where I live) I've never heard of before. Great informative review - Thanks. I just Joined Hotels for my basic hotel review/tips blog, and already have a few leads. Certainly a well targeted, user friendly, and comprehensive program. Very small niche for me to wonder the profitability of it, however its a very idea & i am definitely going to give it a serious thought.
