If thats something like a hybrid between traditional search engines and modern social bookmarking/media sites that displays real time results then I am sure there could be a market for it.
I think the market for it would be too small. How often do we really need to find something that was specifically relevant recently? It seems we can do the exact same thing when searching on Google. I could only seeing this site being good for journalists who always need new stories. Even then, I’m sure they would have better sources.

I agree, it cannot compete with Google. There are simply too many things wrong with their implementation. A search engine would have to be quite different or very well marketed to stand any chance.

I have testing NowRelevant and it´s not giving me any good results over here in Sweden and Spain. Google is 100 times better.

At the moment, Google is the largest search engine on the web. But no harm for us to try other search engine. If it doesn’t provide good result for Sweden and Spain, then you can only use Google.

I have yet to earn from the affiliate program, but it’s my list, I’ll be trying it next.
Sorry but nowrelevant will never have 5-10% of the search market share. First of all, they have a major problem with their domain name…people will misspell it. They better also have nowrelevent.com and nowrellevant.com registered. Secondly it would take a massive advertising budget to establish a new search engine. If bing/msn still has such a low market share with the budget, I don’t see a newcomer doing any better.
I think this search engine grab data of Google and display again by itself.

Maybe? But I have no idea, when I did the search for the keyword “make money online”, the result was different with the result in Google search engine.
But if they want to have personal/themselves search engine, they should to have many dedicated server to storage database cache in there.

They’ve got a good concept, but their results, from my brief testing, are very poor. Sure they are contextually relevant, but in terms of quality and actual relevance, they have a LONG way to go. Unless they do a major improvement of their algorithm, I’m afraid this site will not be around for long.
