Talking about Digital Camera, I have a short story about myself within this week. It was just Monday, I suddenly started to plan to buy myself a digital camera as DSLR. I was hanging around on the net and searched for the information, compared specifications and prices. First I think of Sony Alpha which is Sony Alpha 200, I think it’s suitable for beginner like me since I never been using DSLR and it’s consider a high end digital camera. After that my colleague told me that if I’m looking for long term usage, then I should go for Nikon DSLR such as D40, D60, D80 or D90.
I was thinking to use the money that I earned from my blog, but after thinking about my future which I’m going to further my study in coming few months and I need the money to pay my University fee, so I cleared my mind and changed decision. As a part time blogger aka part time student aka full time worker, I know that it’s really hard to make money either make money online or make money as a worker. So, I’m not going to waste the money first.
My purpose to buy a DSLR is because of I like the photos that taken by DSLR, can be considered it’s my interest. Other than this, I own a food cuisine blog too, I must take some nice food photos to share it in my food blog, so that it can attracts more people to read my blog, am I right? But, I stop to think that first because of money problem. But then, I still bought a digital camera which is Canon IXUS 80IS.
I bought it few hours ago in a warehouse sales in PJ state, the warehouse sales will be end tomorrow. Not much things selling there except digital camera, if you’re looking for other IT products, don’t waste your time and money to travel there. Canon IXUS 80IS is selling at about RM899 and I bought it in just RM685 in warehouse sales today, came with normal full set, 4GB memory card, free gift, and porch. I bought a gold colour 1 since there was no stock for other colours except pink, the gold colour Canon IXUS 80IS looked very cool in reality and I like it so much. It was a very great deal!
Canon IXUS 80IS is a normal digital camera but it can takes nice shot too. The specifications and features as below :

How To Make Money Online With Your Digital Camera
If you have a normal digital camera like me or a DSLR, definitely you can make money online with it. In my opinion, start a food blog to make money online with your digital camera is very good idea. It’s really no difficult to make money with your food blog, but you have to be patient, when your food blog grows and the money will be flowing in non-stop.
1) Create a food blog for free in Blogspot or wordpress.com. If you buy your own hosting and domain, go for wordpress.org.
2) Bring along your digital camera when going out for meal.
3) Take some nice shots on the foods.
4) Keep the receipt and remember to drop down the address, so that you can share what you ate and tell your readers where can they eat it too.
5) Keep on updating your blog whenever you visit other restaurants.
6) Do some SEO exercises in your food blog to improve your pagerank and search engine ranking for certain keyword.
7) Apply Google Adsense or Foodbuzz (My favourite ads which pays in CPM basis)!
Sit down and wait…? No! You have to keep update to satisfy your readers so that they will keep reading your blog and I’m sure you will make lot of money from Foodbuzz and Google Adsense.
A nice photography can really attract people to read your blog and increase your traffics, I yet to own a DSLR now but it’s my next target in coming months or years. Other than make money online with your digital camera to start a food blog, you can create a photograph blog too but I have yet to do a analysis and survey on the keyword, I will do it in coming post and share it with you guys!

No, your Glitterati status from Nuffnang will be still maintained even thought you apply Adsense or Foodbuzz, they can work together.
Oo, seems that you have a nice photography in your blog, but it’s more on personal rant right? Hmm in my opinion, personal blog is kinda difficult to increase traffics and make money.
I see that you snap a few food photos too, very nice shot. Do you interest to create another blog and only for food? You can apply Foodbuzz and they pay you a fixed rate for 1000 page impressions. Check on my previous post about Foodbuzz.

Haha, I think it’s okay to snap some photos with handphone camera, but then my handphone camera is good enough to take a nice photo, so I should need a camera hehe. Yea, DSLR is my target in the coming year.

But, maybe we have different thought? Because I’m not eating because of blogging. As human, we need to eat, at the same time, we can take some photos and share it in our blog with everybody, tell them what we ate and where we can eat it, we can earn some money from advertisement at the same time, is it better than nothing?
Yea, of course the money we spent for the meals are definitely higher than we earn from blog, but at least we ate something delicious and we tried it before right?
So, the conclusion is, I’m not eating just for blogging, it’s for my ownself. haha!
