I believe that no one of us like to make money blogging with any obstruction especially network. Unfortunately, I’m facing this problem right now, my Streamyx line is suspended due to no pay bill for 3months. The story is like that. Last Thursday, I back from work, as usual I turned on my pc and ready to write an blog entry on my blog, unfortunately I can’t online. I asked my brother, he said we did not receive any Streamyx bill for 3months, they suspended our line now.
My brother paid the 3months bill last Friday (08 August 08) which is Olympic Open Day. Monday, he called to Streamyx service centre and asked for the status, the officer said “payment problem”. Tuesday, my bro called them again, the officer said “port problem”. Today, my bro called again, the officer said “your modem problem”, DAMN !! What a lousy service! So I can’t manage my blog at home now, I only can write few entry at my office after office hour!
I received an email from my blog buddy (Banji) today, he told me that he read an article from InTech yesterday about P1 had publicly announced Wimax will be official launched at 19th Aug 08 ! It’s a great news for me!
In my previous entry about the prediction of Wimax price, I predicted the price will be Rm200 to Rm250/month and Rm150 to Rm200 for the devices. Article from InTech said that P1 gives a hint that it will range from Rm60 to Rm160/month for speed that range from 384Kb/s to 4Mb/s, that’s a affordable price for me! I believe Wimax can provide better customer services than Streamyx! Read also “How does Fast Network help you Make Money Blogging?”.
Currently P1 only provide coverage for few areas in Klang Valley. P1 is aiming to provide coverage for the whole west side of Peninsular Malaysia by end of this year. This is a great news for me since P1 is not provide coverage at my area which is Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.
I will definitely look toward Wimax since Streamyx disappointed me! How about you? Which one you prefer?
