P1 Wimax Customer Experience Vs Lousy Streamyx

A very short post today due to streamyx connection problem, my internet connection is not stable for the whole day, even now also up and down. Wimax had been launched by P1 for about a month, I keep surfing on the net to find out the comments for Wimax product, customer service and etc. Last month, P1 also brought us an funny advertisement on youtube when they launched Wimax.

I found this video clip in youtube when I surfed for wimax comments. 3 Wimax users shared about their experiences with P1 Wimax customer support. They all had positive comments with it. Have a look over here …

These are what 3 Wimax users shared about their experience with P1 customer services, very efficiency. There are only 3 users’ positive comments, I would like to get more about it because I’m going to switch from Streamyx to Wimax when Wimas has covered P.J too. I just hope that Streamyx can serve me better before I quit. xD

Mike : Yea, the price for Wimax modem very expensive, about Rm999. Hope they have another promotion to free modem in future again. Haha, that’s mean you are future CEO as well! Congratulation! =)

so far, I read that the customer service is excellent. And they actually know what is happening. However, one thing does bother me, the 20GB limitation. what;s your opinion on that KaHoongChai?

banji & a struggling blogger : I’ve Google it up and found that the 20GB bandwidth limitation is applied for all subscribers. Actually 20GB is not enough for all subscribers unless there is no one using P2P file transfer.

Yea, the 20GB bandwidth limitation is to control those who use P2P file transfer. I believe it’s not a good sign if the increasing number of customer who use P2P file transfer in future.

P1 Wimax Terms And Condition

In my opinion, they shouldn’t not do like this because customers pay that much and I think customers should get what they’ve paid. But in fact, it benefits those who don’t use P2P transfer. =)

hahah, in the video, check out the dude in black-t at 0:26, his modem is stagnant at RED and he still giving the “kecepatan..” a thumbs up. fraud video perhaps? Just an observation , but what do u guys think?

speed-wise, wimax still has a few kinks here and there that they will need to rectify (and fast!). but customer service-wise, so far i’m happy with the way they handle the cases. response was quite prompt, and no stupid solutions (while i do understand that the CS people in streamyx were just reading the script given to them, come on lah, u think we all buta IT people ke -_-).

Yea, I’ve tried to call them and complaint about their services, end up they just replied me :”Okay, we will get our representative to look into it.”. They never felt sorry to customer at all. I agree with you that Wimax’s customer service is the best right now. :D

Actually i seldom use P2P but instead, i use direct download.

Same problem apply here as i will finish using my 20GB within 1-2days time.

Im still thinking of using P1 or not……..

hi i just wanna say that p1 fucking sucks.. i had no connection for 1 month.. and im going to their hq today and fucknig yell at them until michael lai fucking suck my bf’s cock … i pay for no connection>? what fuck is that man… FUCK P1… IM FUCKING BOYCOTT IT…

Yeah, I agree with P1 is becoming lousier and lousier… Heard the above said P1 customer service is great huh? Previously P1 didnt give me any problem so I didnt deal with their customer service so I am not sure. But now… P1 is definitely lousier than streamyx (included their customer service). I have complaint to them with my problem since June. But every end of the month the problem occur again. Then I have to complaint again. P1 have totally become my nightmare (the frequent disconnection and lag).

True, i file a complain, problems still repeating again and again. Summore i have been received alot of their sms telling connection interrupted. I also hate to have their reply “Happy to inform: bla bla bla services restored…ENJOY your P1 Wimax” after a whole day connection down, i dun c any reason to be happy and i m NOT ENJOYING the lousy P1 service.

I have been a user of P1 Wimax for the last couple of months and have found the service to be good.

However their customer service is terrible, I have been trying to call them for the last couple of days – 14th and 15th of September and no one picks up the phone and the best part it it goes into a message but no one returns your call.

I remember the CEO saying that they were going to try and fix it but looks like nothing has been done so if you know that chap (seeing that your name is the same) please tell to to get something done soon else all their hardwork is gonna go down the drain.

i write online customer service many time ,
no none of my comment have respond from wimax,
i try to call also nobody pick my phone..
crap…how they work?their boss din teach them how to work?
i use wimax at taman sutera, seberang jaya,
this area should be in coverage.
but the line always down and cant connect to network..
so….wimax also not better than steamyx…
all suck

This is my update since my last post on the 16th of September.
My calls to the P1 Wimax Customer Service Center on the 14th and 15th of September has still been not answered. I had also put in an online feedback hoping for someone to call me and assist me in resolving the issue I have …. today is the 6th of October no one has called and the best part is that they can actually send back a survey to ask about feedback on the customer service.

What a bunch of idiots, I really dont think anyone is working there, just automated replies. I’m just going to wait for this shitty contract to be over and move back to Maxis Broadband, a little slower but at least the customer service is much better.

Tat’s true, streamy may have problem sometime, but it have more consistent connection and a few time more stable than the lousy p1.

Agree, agree and TOTALLY AGREE!! P1 IS MORE LOUSY THAN STREAMYX!!
And they(P1) are a bunch of CHEATERS too!
First 7days(SO CALLED ‘trial period’ -and they charge you for it too!) line is no problem. Fast.
After 7days, trial period over -and point of NO RETURN, line like shit.
Complain, complain, complain, and noone gives a shit since u already lock-in for 2yrs contract. If u want u terminate contract & PAY PENALTY RM399, if not then SHUT THE F*CK UP & CONTINUE USE THE BLOODY SLOW LINE!!

End of story. Right now must suffer 2 yrs.

Talk about P1. I didn’t even get the activation pin. Paid RM100, but no pin. Called and emailed to p1, still no solution from them only promises. So, in my book, this is really bad service.

I want to say that P1 Wimax Is A Shit Who Does Not Care About It’s Customers!
I am very pissed off with P1.

In August I signed up for P1 Wimax. I test runned it and within the week I found that it is not suitable for my purpose. I signed the cancellation document and told them to write the cheque to my wife or company because I do not have a bank account to deposit the refund cheque.

Despite the cancellation procedure, I still get billed. I wrote back after a few billings to tell them off them up regarding their inefficiency.

When no refund was forthcoming after the 45days was up and long after 90 days, I called customer service. Apparently there is no record of my cancellation. They probably lost my documents. They asked that I go to their office to settle this matter! (So I am being penalized for their crappy work)

I told them I want their phone number to talk to the accounts department. The call centre refused to give me the number! They want me to go there! Not satisfied, I called my Vendor in Subang Jaya and apparently I was right in that they misplaced the document.

Just few days ago, I got my cheque. Even then, they did not follow instructions despite me given WRITTEN instructions to that effect. It had my name on it and I already told them to put to my company’s or wife’s name.

Of course that got me pretty mad. I would have been neutral but because they keep fucking up and delayed my refund, I got REALLY MAD.

To me this is one FUCKED UP COMPANY who DO NOT CARE about CUSTOMER’S RELATIONS. The blocked us from reaching administration and customer service so that the directors can sit on their cushy chairs and let the customers be. I am totally pissed off!
