I guess nothing works as well as Google search or Technorati. If you are specifically looking for blogs where you can ‘guest post’, I guess forums and niche sites like BlogSynergy have no match.

I prefer to use Google Blog Search to search for the blog of my niche. However, it is not very effective. My blog is about cancer. It is difficult for me to search for this niche of blog.
