During the Raya, I was in my hometown and relaxing over there for about 1 week. It was a great holiday during Raya in my hometown, Taiping (Raintown). Between, by walking around my buddies’ blog and I found something interesting from P1 Wimax, It’s a Raya Advertisement. P1 created an Wimax Advertisement a few months ago and they did it again. I would say this one touch my heart and brings fun as well.
Enjoy the advertisement, it’s touching and fun.
The story is like that. In a small village with a small family contains a son, dad and mum. One day, the son said he want to work in KL. So his mum gave him her gold chain, his son just went to KL with it. In KL, son works hard and bullied by his colleague (The place and colleague looks familiar?). The son always contacts his mum with webcam. In the conversation, his mum tell him :”You must back to celebrate Raya this month……”, the internet is down. During Hari Raya, son back to his hometown with cool look, but…unfortunately, his neighbour tell him that his family was back to Muar for Raya! Haha!!
It’s a great advertisement, P1 not only brings technology but also fun! I would say thanks to P1 for creating touching and funny advertisement for all of us during Raya! Wimax was great while I checked out in PC Fair 2008 and also get lot of information from my buddies who went their event.
In August, P1 launched Wimax with good price which gave free Modem costed RM999, and I did checked out their site and found that they have another promotion with free Modem costed RM999 and cheaper monthly fee too, it’s the great time to grab but unfortunately, my area is not in their coverage area list yet. Between, Wimax has not disappointed me yet because I don’t hear any bad comments about Wimax yet but a lot good comments about Wimax, I will grab it when it cover my area to play with fastest network!

i’m eager to try this service but been wondering why my area was not stated as covered in their website..my location is between KL and USJ…near midvalley one…why oh why ?
|1f34|-|1r3 : You can check it here “Wimax Coverage List“. I think your area is not under coverage, they have certain locations under coverage area only, but not “between” any location that they stated. =)
LOL…i already check the link before but what’s the purpose of having a spot left behind in the middle ?? damn it ~!
|1f34|-|1r3 : haha, they have a station in certain place then only cover an area by their own. So they have few stations out there, but too bad the coverage area not reach your area yet, me too. Just wait, they will make Wimax to cover whole Malaysia in the end of the year. =)

ahmike : Haha, it’s different for me, I prefer fast network. When I search something else, I hope I will get it in short time, especially I want to search assignment info and I’m rush to get it, I will be mad if I still have to wait it load. =)
can’t think of why anyone would satisfy with slow line….faster connection means faster download…faster download means faster bittorrent unless they want to block it….LOL
|1f34|-|1r3 : Yes, other than faster download, faster upload as well, I can search info faster, and blogging! I prefer faster network than slow network, I think this is what everyone wish, no? =)
i think ahmike has different opinion…as long as it’s good enough for him…he will not ask for more.. =P
|1f34|-|1r3 : Hmm, maybe mike don’t need faster speed and the price for Wimax is a little bit expensive than Streamyx. But sometimes streamyx can keep down for the whole day. I hate it! =.=
