Wimax in PC Fair 2008
I just came back from PC Fair held at KLCC. It’s full of people, crowded ! As i told you in previous entry, i will be going there on Sunday which is today and i absolutely will go have a look on Wimax. The first hall i visited, i already saw big big word “WIMAX” on my right hand side, so my friend and I dropped by there for about half an hours.
That’s cool ! I did check out their connection speed, someone browsed Youtube, and i saw there is no buffering or lagging, you can definately watch a video clip without waiting, it’s just like you are watching video that stored in your local disk. One word i can say, FAST (But i’m not sure how many Mbps the presenter is using, should be 10Mbps) !! I have taken a photo on the Wimax device too.
The one in black colour is the Wimax Device, the outlook is very nice, and the size small also, easy to keep and carry. What i can say is … Wimax really cool !!
Between, they are giving out their unique P1 Wimax paper bag to everyone who fill in the free trial registration form. The paper bag has few colours which is Black, Pink and Blue (I only can remember this all), but i did not take any because there is crowded with people.
So i have seen Wimax functions and speed, but i did not see any Wimax price annouced yet, so i’m waiting for it. So far Wimax is giving me a positive image, i hope the price doesn’t disappoint me haha! I will make more money online to apply Wimax in the coming months.

With the free trial officially rolled out, it can only mean one thing. Wimax is just around the corner. I read in the newpaper the other day showing the coverage map of P1wimax, Almost all west area on the peninsular malaysia will be covered by end of the year
Looking forward to change my ISP

banji : Really ?? That’s a great news !! Currently my area (Kelana Jaya, PJ) is not within their coverage area. sigh..
Hope they can work out this plan asap.
It really shocked me when i saw the Youtube download speed !
Today a Maxis Broadband presenter at KLCC encouraged my friend to sign up their plan. Summore she said when she browsed Youtube, it won’t buffer =.=”
I want to ask her Maxis Broadband got faster than Wimax or not ?? (But i din’t ask, LOL !)
