Today, I tried to open Google.com and want to search something else. I saw a word below of the Google search bar called “Learn more about World AIDS Day” with a red ribbon in front of the word. After read, I got to know that today (1st December 2008) is World AIDS Day 2008.
You might think that why I wrote an article that is not related with make money online? Am I crazy or mad? No way! You try to think, make money online can be related with Google, because Google Search Engine brings us a lot of traffics that can really make us a lot of money. Without Google, how are you going to make money online? So, Google is spreading the news about “World AIDS Day 2008” on their site, as a blogger and Google helps me a lot on making money, I should help Google to spread the news too.
I’ll be roughly explaining what is AIDS and what is the purpose of “World AIDS Day 2008″. That’s great for us to know a little bit about HIV and AIDS.
What Is HIV and AIDS?
Before defining the meaning of AIDS, I should for go HIV first. HIV is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system against diseases. The latest research shows that between 70% and 90% of people may experience symptoms of infection a few days before infected by HIV. There is 3 symptoms such as fever, rash and a severe sore throat should always be considered a potential indicator of HIV infection. These symptoms normally will disappear within two or three weeks.
If you don’t have an effective treatment the immune system to protect your body, you will eventually become very weak and no longer be able to fight off illnesses.
HIV is different with AIDS. When someone is having HIV infection which mean they have the HIV virus in their body. A person will be considered to have AIDS when his immune system is very weak and his body can no longer fight with the virus. The people will get HIV infection before AIDS.
HIV can’t be cured but treatment can control the virus spread in your body and keep the immue system healthy and stronger. But then the people might get side effects from the treatment. So, getting HIV infection and your life will be no longer healthy.
A statistic produced by UNAIDS, it shows that approximate 33 million people living with HIV in the World :
i) 30.8 million adults ( Men – 15.3 million ; Women – 15.5 million )
ii) 2.0 million children under 15

The Purpose Of “World AIDS Day 2008″
After defining the meaning of HIV and AIDS, it’s the time to explain about the purpose of “World AIDS Day 2008. Started on 1st December 1988, World AIDS Day is about raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education. Other than these, the main purpose of “World AIDS Day” is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done.
HIV is not doomsday, life is still going on. “Open your mind and your heart, your immue system might get stronger and win the HIV war!”.

In this article, it’s not an make money online article. So, I hope you all and Google will like what I’m sharing in this article. It’s better for everyone to knows a little bit about HIV and AIDS so that we can prevent it before it happens.

i saw the news said now china more people infected by AIDS, I wonder why they don want to do safety before get fun? the CDM now not expensive what?
Calvyn : Oh really? I’m not sure about why they don’t do safety before get fun. As I know, most of the china citizen is very poor until no money to buy it, if not why they have so many children even thought they have no ability to feed and educate their children?
I have no experience on this, so I might not give too much comments about them. ;)
AIDS is quite scary disesase. So deadly yet no cure for it (at the moment). I guess the best way to prevent ourselves from being inflicted with it is education on our part.
